TEMPLE CONSTRUCTION

Our request to the community to please sponsor individual item or part of it, of this great project, and be a permanent part of New York Kali Mandir and Community Center. Or you may donate any amount of money to ‘Temple renovation fund’. Each sponsor/donor will be recognized in a special way after completion of this project.

1 Breaking all the walls and half barriers to make a big hall. 1000.00
2 Closing front openings of the building and make an entrance to the building from the parking lot. 1500.00
3 The entrance will be enclosed by a 10’x 5’ Plexiglas room with provision of shoe rack and coat rack. 7000.00
4 Entrance door will be double door fiberglass with wood finish. 1500.00
5 All inside walls will be finished with 1’ foam insulation and sheetrock. 6000.00
6 Remove and replace existing ceiling. 1500.00
7 A 200cfm exhaust fan will be place over the area of “Hom”. 1500.00
8 Remove existing tube lights from celling. High hat light to be placed along the celling and three fans. 2000.00
9 Track lights installed to focus on deity. 500.00
10 Remove old windows and install color glass brick windows. 1500.00
11 Replacing the skylight dome. 2000.00
12 Interior and exterior painting. 1500.00
13 Install wrought iron fence along the outskirt of the front of the property with a sliding iron gate 5000.00
14 Build a temple facade connecting two building and temple facade on top of two building. 20000.00
15 New heating and air-condition system. 7000.00
16 A trailer on our back yard with three/four rooms for priest quarter/library/office space for community organizations. 6000.00
17 Making a paved open space at the back of the proposed new temple for a open seating area /a place for fire rites/other religious activities. 5000.00
18 Breaking the middle wall of the present temple building(614) for better use of space –this will be our future community center. 2500.00
19 Replace and rebuild asphalt roof of the 614 building (done) with new gutter and insulation of duct system. 9000.00
20 New water fountain for drinking water in both buildings.
